We are delighted to see two recent projects go live, successfully launched to market (by our client).
Progressed in parallel. Related but entirely distinct.
In their words:
“The Thomson Geer Group has elevated its two business pillars to meet the needs of a changing legal world.
“The deliberate evolution sharpens the focus of each offering helping clients manage both high-end legal complexity and high-volume needs at scale, with even greater quality and precision.”
Thomsons
We helped Thomsons Geer rebrand, as Thomsons.
A significant shift in market positioning to better reflect the firms’ evident ambition and success in establishing itself as a genuine top-tier player.
Expert, precise, controlled
The challenge was not reinvention, but repositioning. To rise, elevate. To create clear distance between Thomsons and the receding mid-tier. To capture the confidence, calibre and discipline expected at the top end of the market.
Folk partnered with the leadership team to sharpen the brand and design a new website – building a clearer expression of the firm Thomsons had already become.
Faculti
As the Thomsons name shed a word – Faculti gained a brand new one, literally.
Thomson Geer Legal and Technology (TGLT) needed to evolve into something fundamentally different from a traditional law firm.
TGLT was the holding entity for an established set of successful specialist businesses that delivered high-volume, process-driven legal work.
Engineered at scale, to scale
A technology and AI platform, Fai, was becoming integral to their value proposition, driving speed, consistency and control, with AI accelerating transformation at pace.
Folk were engaged to rethink, rename and rebrand how this business should go to market. To be seen, and heard. We challenged the core conventions of legal services and positioned Faculti to lead distinctly in the emerging NewLaw category. We designed a new website to profile their combined deep legal expertise and technology.

Congratulations to Thomsons and Faculti on the double launch and the new heights ahead.
